We bring professional-grade laser tag equipment directly to your location — your backyard, a park, an office parking lot, a gym, or anywhere with enough space. We handle all the setup, run the games, and clean up afterwards. It is like having a private laser tag arena wherever you want it.
Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about booking mobile laser tag for your event.
General
What exactly is mobile laser tag?
What ages can play?
Our equipment is suitable for ages 6 and up. The guns are lightweight and the vests are adjustable to fit kids and adults. We have had players as young as 6 and as old as 75 playing side by side!
Is laser tag safe?
Absolutely. Our equipment uses infrared signals (similar to a TV remote) to register hits. There are no projectiles, no paint, and no physical contact. The guns and vests are FDA-approved and completely safe for all ages.
What area do you serve?
We serve the greater Philadelphia area including Philadelphia proper, Montgomery County, Bucks County, Delaware County, and Chester County. Events within 30 miles of Center City include free delivery. For locations farther out, a small travel fee may apply.
How many players can participate?
Up to 24 players can be on the field at one time. For larger groups, players rotate in and out between rounds so everyone gets time in the arena. There is no hard cap on overall group size — we will design a rotation format that works for your headcount and keeps the energy high for everyone.
Can you come to our office or venue?
Absolutely. We set up wherever your team already is — a company parking lot, an outdoor courtyard, a field, a retreat venue, or any open space with enough room to run. If you are not sure whether your location works, reach out and we will talk through the setup options.
Is the activity appropriate for all students?
Absolutely. Our game modes are designed to be inclusive across ages, athletic abilities, and experience levels — laser tag rewards strategy and awareness just as much as speed. Our Game Master actively manages the energy and pacing to make sure every type of student finds their footing quickly and no one feels left out or outmatched.
What ages can play at a laser tag birthday party?
Our equipment is designed for players ages 6 and up, and there is no upper age limit — parents, grandparents, and older siblings are all welcome to jump in. The blasters weigh just 2.5 pounds and the vests are fully adjustable, so younger players can gear up and compete comfortably right alongside teenagers and adults. We structure the games so that every age group stays engaged, using rotating team formats and shorter rounds for younger crowds to keep energy levels high. About 40 percent of our birthday parties include at least a few adults playing alongside the kids. Our Game Master reads the group dynamics in real time and adjusts the pacing so nobody sits out and nobody feels overwhelmed. Whether your child is turning 7 or 17, the experience scales naturally to match the group.
Can scouts earn a badge through laser tag?
While we are not an official badge program provider, many troop leaders use our events to fulfill requirements for teamwork, leadership, and physical fitness badges. Laser tag naturally involves strategy, communication, and cooperation — all core elements that align with scouting achievement programs. We can structure game modes to emphasize specific skills like team coordination, problem solving under pressure, or leading a squad through a tactical objective. Several troops in our area have successfully credited our events toward badge progress by documenting the teamwork and leadership components in their activity logs. Over the past two years we have hosted more than 30 scout troop events across the greater Philadelphia area. If you let us know which badge your troop is working toward, our Game Master can tailor the session to highlight the relevant skills so your scouts get the most out of the experience.
How many kids can play at once in a youth group event?
We support up to 24 active players per round with our standard equipment set, and for larger groups we rotate players through rounds so everyone gets equal game time. A typical 90-minute youth group session can comfortably cycle 40 to 60 kids through multiple rounds with minimal downtime between rotations. Our Game Master manages the flow and keeps the energy high even during transitions by running quick team huddles and strategy sessions. For very large groups of 80 or more, we can bring additional equipment and a second Game Master to run simultaneous fields. About 60 percent of our youth group bookings involve groups of 30 or more players. We design the rotation schedule before arrival based on your headcount, so every kid gets the same amount of play time and nobody ends up standing around waiting. Just give us your estimated numbers when you book.
How many campers can you accommodate?
We can handle small groups or full camps of a few hundred players using rotations and multiple game formats. Whether you have 15 campers or 200+, we design the game flow to keep everyone engaged.
What age is laser tag best for?
Laser tag is perfect for ages 5 and up. Our lightweight equipment is specifically designed for younger players, and our Game Coach adjusts the pace and game modes to match the age group.
How does laser tag work as a team building activity?
Laser tag puts your team into fast-paced, low-stakes scenarios that require real communication, strategy, and trust — the same skills that drive performance back at the office. We run game modes specifically designed for corporate groups, including capture the flag, protect the VIP, and tactical relay missions where every team member plays a critical role. Unlike ropes courses or escape rooms, laser tag gets people moving physically and making split-second decisions together, which breaks down social barriers far more quickly. Our Game Master facilitates team assignments to mix departments and seniority levels so people connect across the usual silos. Research from the Institute for Corporate Productivity shows that teams who engage in shared physical activities report 25 percent higher collaboration scores in the following quarter. After your session most groups tell us that colleagues who barely spoke before were strategizing together by the second round.
What grades is laser tag appropriate for?
Our events work well for students in grades 1 through 12 and beyond into college-age groups. The equipment is lightweight at just 2.5 pounds per blaster with adjustable vests, so younger elementary students can play comfortably alongside high schoolers. We adjust the game complexity to match the age range — simpler team elimination rounds for younger kids and more strategic objective-based modes for older students. For mixed-age school events like field days, our Game Master creates brackets by grade band so the gameplay stays fair and fun for everyone. About 45 percent of our school bookings serve elementary and middle school groups, with the remainder split between high schools and universities. Teachers and administrators consistently tell us that students who rarely participate in organized activities are the ones most engaged during laser tag. Every event is designed to be inclusive so no student feels left out regardless of athletic ability.
Can you handle large school groups?
We specialize in large-group events and regularly run sessions for 100 to 300 or more students in a single day. Our rotation system cycles up to 24 players through each round, and with efficient transitions we can move through a full school class every 10 to 12 minutes. For field days and end-of-year celebrations, we build a custom schedule that coordinates with your class periods or grade rotations so every student gets equal play time without disrupting the rest of the school day. Our largest single-day school event served 280 students across six hours with two simultaneous fields and two Game Masters. We work directly with your event coordinator or PE department to plan the logistics in advance, including arrival flow, student grouping, and any accessibility accommodations. Just share your estimated headcount and schedule when you book and we will build a detailed run-of-show for your approval.
Do you offer themed game modes for summer camp groups?
Yes — we have a full library of game modes that we can theme to match your camp's programming or weekly focus. Beyond standard team elimination, we run capture the flag, protect the VIP, base defense, medic mode, and custom objective games that work especially well with the camp energy. If your camp has a weekly theme like space week or adventure week, our Game Master can adapt the game narrative and team names to match, which campers absolutely love. We typically run three to four different game modes per session to keep things fresh and give every type of player a chance to shine. Our most requested camp mode is a bracket-style tournament where cabins or age groups compete across rounds for a camp champion title. More than 80 percent of our summer camp clients request at least one custom-themed round per visit. Just share your theme calendar with us and we will build a game plan that fits.
What ages can play laser tag at a Philadelphia event?
Our equipment is designed for players ages 6 and up, but the sweet spot is 7 to 14 for birthday parties. Adults love it too — our corporate events and adult birthday parties are some of our most competitive games. The taggers are lightweight, safe, and easy to use regardless of age or experience.
How far are you from West Chester?
We're based right here — West Chester is home. No travel fee, easy scheduling, and we know the area well.
Can you run laser tag for a WCASD school event?
Absolutely — we work with schools for field days, reward events, end-of-year celebrations, and PTO events. We handle all setup and teardown, and our equipment works indoors (gyms) and outdoors. Zero work on the school's end.
What ages work best for a laser tag party?
Our gear works for ages 6 and up. The sweet spot for birthday parties is 7 to 14, but we're set up for all-ages events too — family reunions, block parties, corporate outings. Adults get just as competitive as the kids. The taggers are lightweight and intuitive, so nobody needs experience.
How close are you to Wilmington?
Very close — about 25 minutes north via Route 202. Wilmington and all of northern New Castle County are in our core service area with no travel fee.
Do you serve Delaware schools?
Absolutely. We serve schools across the Red Clay Consolidated, Brandywine, and Christina school districts for field days, reward events, and celebrations. We handle all setup and teardown, and our equipment works in gymnasiums if you need an indoor option.
What's the minimum group size for a Wilmington event?
We recommend at least 10 players for a good game. Most birthday parties run 12-25 players, and corporate events tend to be larger — 20 to 60+. We can work with smaller groups too if the event calls for it.
Do you travel to King of Prussia?
Yes — we're based in West Chester, about 20 minutes south on 202. No travel fee for events anywhere in the KoP / Upper Merion area.
How many players can you handle at a corporate event?
We handle groups from 10 to 60+ players. For larger events, we run rotations so everyone gets plenty of game time without anyone standing around too long. We design the rotation structure in advance based on your group size.
What's included in a KoP laser tag event?
Every event includes pro-grade infrared taggers, tactical barriers, a Game Coach who runs the games and keeps score, multiple rounds, full setup and teardown, and zero cleanup on your end. See our packages page for full details.
Are the people running my event background checked?
Yes — your peace of mind matters to us. Dan holds current PA Criminal Record Checks, PA Child Abuse History Certification Clearances, and Abuse Prevention Systems Training Certificates through his volunteer work with children at Calvary Chapel of Delaware County (ccdelco), including the church nursery, children's ministry, and men's ministry, as well as coaching URA baseball. Kori is a PA-registered nurse with over seven years of ER experience and maintains her own set of clearances and background checks. The same standard of trust that organizations require of us is the same standard we bring to every Laser Tag Anywhere event.
Booking & Pricing
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking at least 2-3 weeks in advance, especially for weekend events. Popular dates (spring and summer weekends) can fill up a month or more ahead. However, we can sometimes accommodate last-minute requests depending on availability.
Is there a deposit required?
Yes, we require a 25% deposit to secure your date. The remaining balance is due the day of the event. We accept all major credit cards, Venmo, and cash.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations made 7+ days before the event receive a full deposit refund. Cancellations within 7 days receive a 50% deposit refund. Rain dates can be rescheduled at no extra cost with 24 hours notice.
Are there any hidden fees?
Nope. The price you see is the price you pay. Delivery, setup, cleanup, referee, and all equipment are included in every package. The only additional costs would be optional add-ons that you choose.
How long does the event run?
Our base package is 1.5 hours of play time, with additional time available in 30-minute increments. Most birthday parties run 1.5–2 hours; corporate and larger group events often run 2–2.5 hours. We will recommend a duration based on your group size and the format we design together.
Can you provide insurance documentation?
Yes. We carry public liability insurance and can provide documentation on request — making the approval process straightforward for facilities, HR teams, schools, or venue coordinators who need it.
How far in advance should I book a birthday party?
We recommend booking at least two to three weeks ahead, though popular spring and summer weekends can fill up a month or more in advance. Saturdays between April and October are our busiest window, so the earlier you lock in your date the better your chances of getting your first choice. Booking is simple — just fill out our contact form or give us a call, and we will confirm availability within 24 hours. A small deposit secures your date, and you can finalize headcount and details closer to the event. Last year roughly 70 percent of our weekend birthday slots were reserved at least three weeks out. That said, we do accommodate last-minute requests when our calendar allows, so it never hurts to reach out even if your party is just a few days away. We want to make it happen for you.
Can you come back for multiple days during camp season?
Absolutely — many camps book us for recurring visits throughout the summer, whether that means a weekly session, a multi-day tournament series, or a special event for each new camp session rotation. We offer multi-visit packages with discounted rates for camps that want to make laser tag a regular part of their programming. Repeat visits let us build on previous sessions by introducing progressively more complex game modes and letting campers develop their teamwork and strategy skills over time. Last summer we ran recurring events at 12 different camps in the greater Philadelphia area, with some booking us every single week for the full season. Your camp director can lock in a schedule of dates at the beginning of the summer and we will hold those slots exclusively. Campers love having something to look forward to each week, and counselors tell us it is the activity that generates the most excitement on the daily schedule.
How far in advance should I book a laser tag event in Philadelphia?
We recommend booking at least 2–3 weeks ahead, especially for weekend events during spring and summer. Weekend dates during spring and summer fill up fast. That said, we can sometimes accommodate shorter-notice requests — just reach out and we'll see what's available.
Is there a travel fee for events in Philadelphia?
Most of Philadelphia falls within our standard service area, so there's no travel fee. We're based in West Chester, PA — about 35 minutes from Center City. Events in the far northeast or northwest corners of the city may occasionally incur a small fee, but we'll always let you know upfront.
Event Day
How much space do you need?
A minimum of about 40x60 feet works great for smaller groups. Larger groups benefit from more space. Backyards, parks, parking lots, gyms, and fields all work perfectly. We will adapt the arena layout to fit your space.
What happens if it rains?
Light rain is actually kind of fun for laser tag! For heavy rain or storms, we will work with you to reschedule at no extra cost. We monitor the weather closely and will reach out proactively if conditions look questionable.
How long does setup take?
Our crew arrives about 30-45 minutes before your scheduled start time to set up all the equipment, lay out the arena boundaries, and test everything. You do not need to do a thing.
Do you provide a referee?
Every package includes at least one dedicated game referee who runs the games, explains the rules, manages the equipment, and keeps the energy levels high. Our Ultimate package includes two referees for larger groups.
Can you set up indoors in a gym?
Yes — a school gymnasium works great. We size the arena to fit your space and adjust the setup accordingly. Outdoor fields, quads, and parking lots work equally well; we will work with whatever you have available.
Do we need a permit to play in a public park?
It depends on your local council or parks authority. We are happy to play in parks and have done so many times — but securing any necessary permits or approvals is the responsibility of the event host. We recommend checking with your local parks department early in the planning process, and we are happy to provide any information about our setup that might help with that process.
How much space do you need for a laser tag birthday party?
We can work with just about any space you have available. A flat area of roughly 40 by 60 feet is the minimum for a great game, which is about the size of a standard backyard or a section of a local park. Larger spaces like full backyards, cul-de-sacs, or open fields give us room to set up inflatable bunkers and create more dynamic arena layouts. We bring everything — blasters, vests, bunkers, a sound system, and a dedicated Game Master — so you do not need to prepare the space in advance. Over 80 percent of our birthday parties take place in private backyards, and our setup crew adapts the field dimensions to whatever you have. If you are not sure whether your space qualifies, just send us a photo when you book and we will confirm the layout before your party date.
What if it rains on the day of the birthday party?
We monitor the forecast closely starting 48 hours before your event and will reach out proactively if conditions look questionable. Light rain actually adds an exciting twist to outdoor laser tag and our infrared equipment works perfectly in drizzle. For heavier rain or thunderstorms, we offer free rescheduling to the next available date that works for your family — no penalties, no hassle. If you have access to an indoor space like a garage, basement, or community center, we can often pivot the event indoors on the same day with a modified arena layout. Fewer than 5 percent of our birthday events need to reschedule due to weather, and we have never had a family unable to find a makeup date. Your deposit and booking are fully protected, so you can plan your party with complete confidence regardless of what the sky decides to do.
Do you provide adult supervision during youth group events?
Every event includes a dedicated Game Master who runs the games, enforces the rules, and keeps the energy safe and positive from start to finish. Our Game Master handles all equipment distribution, explains the rules clearly, manages team assignments, and actively referees every round. You do not need to worry about organizing or overseeing the gameplay yourself. That said, we do ask that at least one adult from your group remains present on site throughout the event as your organization's point of contact, which is a standard requirement for youth activities. Our Game Masters are experienced working with groups ranging from Cub Scouts to high school athletics teams and know how to read the room and adjust the pace accordingly. Over 95 percent of group leaders tell us the Game Master made their job easier by keeping kids focused and engaged the entire time.
Can we do laser tag at our office or corporate venue?
Absolutely — we bring the entire experience to you, whether that means your office parking lot, a nearby park, an indoor warehouse, or a rented event space. Our infrared equipment works indoors and outdoors, so conference rooms, lobbies, and large open-plan offices can all become a battlefield with the right layout. We need a minimum of roughly 40 by 60 feet of usable space, and our setup crew handles every detail from inflatable bunkers to the sound system. About 35 percent of our corporate events take place on company property, with parking lots and adjacent green spaces being the most popular options. If your building has specific access rules, insurance requirements, or noise policies, just let us know when you book and we will prepare the necessary documentation in advance. We carry full commercial liability insurance and can provide a certificate of insurance naming your venue as an additional insured.
How long does a corporate laser tag event take?
Most corporate events run between 90 minutes and two hours, which includes setup, a brief safety orientation, team assignments, multiple game rounds, and breakdown. We arrive about 30 minutes early to set up the arena and equipment so your team can jump right into the action at the scheduled start time. The active gameplay portion typically fills 60 to 90 minutes depending on group size and the number of game modes you want to experience. For larger retreats or all-day company outings, we can extend the session or build in halftime breaks for food, awards, or team photos. Our most popular corporate format is a 90-minute block with three distinct game modes that escalate in complexity, keeping engagement high throughout. After the final round, your Game Master announces scores and highlights standout moments — a natural icebreaker that keeps the conversation going well after the event wraps up.
Can you play indoors?
Yes — gyms, cafeterias, and large rooms work great. Our inflatable bunkers won't scratch the floor, and we bring our own power supply so you don't need to worry about outlets or extension cords.
What space do you need for laser tag?
Fields, gyms, or large open areas all work well. We customize the arena setup to fit your space — just send us a photo or description and we'll let you know exactly how we'd configure it.
What if it rains?
We can play in a light drizzle, or move indoors or under cover. We'll work with you on a backup plan so your campers don't miss out regardless of the weather.
What do our counselors need to do during the event?
Very little — that is the whole point. Our Game Master runs the entire experience from start to finish, including equipment distribution, rule explanations, team assignments, gameplay facilitation, and scoring. Your counselors are free to participate as players, supervise from the sidelines, or simply take a well-deserved break while we handle everything. We just ask that at least one staff member remains on site as a point of contact in case of any camper-specific needs like medical information or behavioral considerations. Counselors who play alongside their campers tell us it is one of the best bonding experiences of the summer. About 70 percent of the camp staff at our events choose to suit up and join the games. Our setup and breakdown are fully self-contained, so your team does not need to help with any logistics before or after. We show up, we run the show, and we leave your space exactly as we found it.
Can you set up laser tag in a school gym?
Yes — gyms are one of our most popular indoor venues for school events. A standard high school gymnasium gives us more than enough room to create a full arena with inflatable bunkers, boundary markers, and team staging areas. We use soft-soled equipment carts and non-marking inflatable barriers, so your gym floor stays protected throughout the event. Our setup crew handles everything from layout to breakdown, and the entire process takes about 20 to 25 minutes on each end. We have set up in over 50 school gyms across the greater Philadelphia region, from small elementary multipurpose rooms to full-size college recreation centers. If your gym has restrictions on wall attachments or noise levels, let us know in advance and we will adjust the setup plan accordingly. The infrared equipment produces no projectiles and leaves no residue, making post-event cleanup as simple as folding up the bunkers and rolling out.
Where can you set up for a laser tag party in Philadelphia?
Anywhere you've got a reasonably flat space. We set up in backyards, public parks like Fairmount Park and FDR Park, school gymnasiums, church halls, community centers, corporate campuses, and parking lots. If you're unsure whether your space works, send us a photo and we'll let you know.
Where are the best spots for laser tag in West Chester?
Backyards are the most popular option — the lots in East Goshen, Westtown, and Thornbury tend to be ideal. For parks, Everhart Park is a great choice. We also do indoor events in school gyms and local church halls. Not sure about your space? Send us a photo and we'll let you know.
Can you set up at Wilmington-area parks like Alapocas or Rockwood?
Yes — those are excellent venues. Alapocas Run State Park, Rockwood Park, Bellevue State Park, and Brandywine Park all work well for laser tag. For larger groups or events with equipment in public parks, you may need a permit — we can help you figure out what's needed.
Can you set up laser tag at our office in King of Prussia?
Absolutely. We set up on office lawns, in parking lots, or in open indoor spaces. All we need is enough room for players to move and a relatively flat surface. We bring barriers, gear, and a Game Coach to run the whole thing.
Equipment & Games
What kind of equipment do you use?
We use professional-grade infrared laser tag guns with built-in sensors and chest vests with multi-zone hit detection. The guns have a range of about 300 feet and provide realistic sound effects and vibration feedback.
What game modes do you offer?
We offer 6 game modes: Team Deathmatch, Free-for-All, Capture the Flag, VIP, Zombie Mode, and Domination. Our referees will help pick the best modes for your group size and mix them up to keep things fresh.
Can adults and kids play together?
We actually encourage it. Mixed-age games are some of the most fun events we do. Our referees are experienced at balancing teams and can adjust settings to keep things competitive for everyone.
Is the equipment military-style or violent?
Not at all. Our gear is designed specifically for kids and birthday parties. We don't use military-style equipment or aggressive language — our games use terms like blasters, health, power, and eliminated to keep everything age-appropriate, inclusive, and parent-approved. High-energy fun, zero uncomfortable vibes.
Can game modes be customized for our group?
Yes — and we encourage it. Before your event we will work with you to build a game flow that reflects your group's structure and goals. Whether that means team-based rounds, cross-department mixing, a tournament bracket, or a series of escalating challenges, we will design the format around what you want your group to get out of it.
Is the equipment military-style or violent?
No. Our equipment is designed for kids and camps. We do not use military-style gear or violent language. We use terms like taggers, health power, and eliminated to keep the experience age-appropriate and camp-friendly.
